WHOLE FOODS TO OPEN DECEMBER 13
Whole Foods Market will open a new 50,000-square-foot store located at 4710 Madison Yards Way within Madison Yards on Dec. 13 at 9 a.m. CST. The store will be a relocation of the existing Madison store (3313 University Ave.), which has served the community since 1996.

MADISON YARDS BREAKS GROUND ON PHASE I OF DEVELOPMENT
Smith Gilbane, the joint venture development team comprised of Summit Smith Development and Gilbane Development Company, were joined today by City of Madison officials, project partners, future tenants, and members of the community for a groundbreaking to celebrate Phase I of development at Madison Yards.
Phase I includes a 50,000 sf Whole Foods; 273 luxury apartments named “EO”; 142,000 sf of office; 11,000 sf of retail; and a central green.
DEVELOPER OFFERS MORE OFFICES, HOUSING, RETAIL, AND PARKING FOR MADISON YARDS PROJECT
Summit Smith Development and Gilbane Development Co. are proposing a seven-story building with 154,000 square feet of office space and 11,000 square feet of first floor retail; another five-story structure with 78 apartments and 5.5-story parking garage with 600-plus stalls; and a two-story building with 17,000 square feet of commercial/retail space on a 3.2-acre site at the northwest corner of Segoe Road and Sheboygan Ave.

DEVELOPERS SEEK TO PUSH MADISON PROJECTS FORWARD AMID PANDEMIC
Developers are seeking to push forward several big projects as the city review process, delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, cranks back up. The proposals were moving through the pipeline when the coronavirus crisis struck in mid-March and city officials canceled most board, committee and commission meetings other than those deemed most essential.
MADISON YARDS DEVELOPMENT ANNOUNCES ADDITION OF WHOLE FOODS MARKET
A new development called Madison Yards announced Thursday in a news release that it has signed a lease with Whole Foods Market. The market will anchor the Madison Yards development and take up 50,000 square feet.
